A woman was hospitalized after being struck by a vehicle while crossing the street in Fresno on Saturday evening, March 1, 2025.

According to the Fresno Police Department, officers responded to reports of a pedestrian crash at Jensen and Elm Avenues at approximately 8:45 p.m.

Preliminary investigations indicate that the woman was crossing Jensen Avenue outside of a crosswalk when she was hit by a vehicle traveling westbound.

The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment. Her current condition remains unknown.

The driver involved remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities. The incident is under investigation.
