One person was killed in a three-vehicle collision on the southbound 110 Freeway at Slauson Avenue in the Vermont Slauson area of South Los Angeles on Tuesday morning, February 25, 2025.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision occurred at approximately 12:53 a.m. and involved a white van, a Toyota Prius, and another vehicle. The white van was reported to be blocking the HOV lane.

The victim, whose identity has not been released, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The investigation is ongoing.
