At least one person sustained major injuries following a head-on collision on Alta Arden Expressway in Arden-Arcade, Sacramento County, on Friday afternoon, February 21, 2025.
According to the California Highway Patrol traffic logs, the two-vehicle crash occurred near the intersection of Alta Arden Expressway and Bell Street at approximately 1:55 p.m. Emergency responders were dispatched to the scene.
The westbound lanes on Alta Arden Expressway were blocked as a result of the collision.
According to Sacramento County dispatch radio communications, two individuals were transported to the hospital from the scene.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
