[02-20-2026] Los Angeles County, CA – One Killed, Two Injured in Crash into Pole in Pacoima

One person was killed, and two others were injured after a vehicle crashed into a pole in Pacoima on Friday night, February 20, 2026.

Police responded around 8:20 p.m. to the intersection of Paxton Street and San Fernando Road. Upon arrival, officers found a 30-year-old man with fatal injuries. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities have not yet released his identity.

A 27-year-old man was extricated from the vehicle and transported to a local trauma center in critical condition. A 39-year-old woman sustained minor injuries in the crash.

A second sedan nearby also appeared to be involved and sustained heavy front-end damage. The circumstances leading up to the collision remain unclear.

Authorities continue to investigate the crash.
