A pedestrian was injured in a hit-and-run crash in Van Nuys, Los Angeles, early Wednesday, February 18, 2026.

According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the incident occurred around midnight near Sherman Way and Hazeltine Avenue, when the pedestrian was walking along the traffic lanes. 

The victim was transported to a local hospital, but their condition is currently unknown.
