Three passengers sustained minor injuries after a suspected DUI crash overturned a BMW on Belmont Avenue in Fresno County late on Tuesday, February 18, 2025.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred around 11:45 p.m. east of Valentine Avenue when the driver, 21-year-old Ankit K., ran off the road and overturned his BMW.
The driver was accompanied by three passengers who only sustained minor injuries due to wearing seatbelts, according to the CHP.
Following an investigation at the scene, the driver was determined to be driving under the influence and was arrested under suspicion of felony DUI causing injury.
