A 25-year-old motorcyclist, identified as Manuel M., was killed in a hit-and-run crash on Temple Avenue near Ruthcrest Avenue in the City of Industry on Saturday night, February 15, 2025.
According to the California Highway Patrol Baldwin Park Office, the crash occurred around 8:30 p.m. when the driver of a silver Kia Soul changed lanes in front of the rider’s black 2016 Yamaha R6, causing him to lose control and crash into a wooden telephone pole.
Emergency responders arrived at the scene, but Mier succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead by a Los Angeles County Fire Department captain.
The driver of the Kia Soul fled the scene, and authorities are asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspect.
