According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash was reported at 8:35 a.m., and initially classified as a collision with unknown injuries. By 8:46 a.m., it was upgraded to a major injury crash, prompting a response from medical personnel.

A passerby assisted an elderly individual and a child out of one of the vehicles. Both appeared uninjured at the scene.

Authorities requested two tow trucks from S&R Towing at 8:48 a.m. to remove the involved vehicles. Officers arrived shortly after to manage traffic and assess the situation.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation, and no further details are currently available.
