[02-13-2026] Kern County, CA – Three Hospitalized After Multi-Vehicle Crash in Bakersfield

At least three people were hospitalized following a multi-vehicle crash in Bakersfield on Friday evening, February 13, 2026.

According to the California Highway Patrol website, the collision occurred at around 6:00 p.m. near Taft Highway (119) and Airport Road.

CHP reports indicate that at least four vehicles were involved in the crash. Traffic was diverted to Airport Road from Taft Highway as a result of the collision. 

The conditions of those transported to the hospital have not been released, and it remains unclear whether the area was fully closed to traffic.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
