A multi-vehicle collision at a Riverside intersection left at least three people injured and prompted the closure of a four-lane corridor on Thursday, February 12, 2026.
The crash was reported at around 12:45 p.m. at the intersection of Lincoln Avenue and Van Buren Boulevard on the west end of the city.
Riverside Fire Department officials reported that seven vehicles were involved in the crash, with three individuals suffering moderate to major injuries. Four others were assessed by paramedics but declined medical attention.
The injured victims were transported by three ambulances to a regional trauma center.
Riverside police officers closed Lincoln Avenue in both directions while emergency crews worked to clear the scene. The closure was expected to last until around 3 p.m., following a preliminary investigation and removal of wreckage.
The cause of the collision remains under investigation.
