[02-11-2026] Santa Clara County, CA – 20-Year-Old Man Killed in Fiery Rollover Crash on Highway 237 in Mountain View

A 20-year-old man was killed in a fiery rollover crash on Highway 237 in Mountain View on Wednesday night, February 11, 2026.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred around 10:09 p.m. when a BMW, traveling at a high rate of speed, lost control near Dana Street. The car rolled and caught fire. 

Firefighters extinguished the flames and pulled the driver from the wreckage, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.

Two female passengers were able to escape the crash and were taken to the hospital as a precaution. 

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
