[02-10-2026] Santa Cruz County, CA – Motorcyclist Injured in Collision with SUV on Graham Hill Rd (1).webpA 25-year-old motorcyclist was seriously injured in a crash involving a Toyota SUV in Santa Cruz County on Tuesday morning, February 10, 2026.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision occurred at the intersection of Graham Hill Road and Cress Road. 

Authorities reported that a 32-year-old woman from San Jose was driving the Toyota SUV southbound on Graham Hill Road when she attempted to turn left onto Cress Road. As she turned, the SUV collided with a motorcycle heading north, ridden by a 25-year-old man from Soquel.

The motorcyclist sustained major injuries and was airlifted to The Valley Medical Center for treatment. The driver of the Toyota SUV was uninjured.

CHP officials stated that alcohol and drugs do not appear to have played a role in the crash. The investigation is ongoing.
