According to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, the crash was reported at around 1:47 a.m. at the intersection of Bear Valley Road and Deep Creek Road.

The crash involved a silver vehicle and a white sedan, both of which sustained major damage, with debris scattered across the roadway.

Sheriff’s officials said the driver of one vehicle was determined to be driving under the influence and was transported to a hospital with moderate injuries. Authorities stated that booking would be completed once the driver was medically cleared.

Occupants of the second vehicle were also transported to a hospital with injuries described as unknown at the time of the report. Officials did not specify which vehicle was designated as Vehicle 1 or Vehicle 2.

The crash remains under investigation.
