[02-07-2026] San Bernardino County, CA – One Killed, Another Injured After Pedestrians Struck by SUV in Victorville.webpOne pedestrian was killed, and another was injured after both were struck by an SUV in an unincorporated area of Victorville on Saturday night, February 7, 2026.

According to the California Highway Patrol Victorville Station, the incident was reported at around 7:17 p.m. on El Evado Road north of Dos Palmas Road.

Emergency personnel arrived to find two pedestrians down in the roadway, and a gold-colored 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee stopped in the southbound lane along the shoulder.

Authorities said one pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene, while the second pedestrian was transported to a hospital for treatment. The age and gender of the deceased were not released, and no additional details regarding the injured pedestrian’s condition were immediately available.

CHP reported that the SUV sustained visible damage to the front passenger side, including a dented fender and possible bumper damage.

El Evado Road was closed in both directions between Dos Palmas Road and Cholame Road, with San Bernardino County Public Works assisting with the closures.

The cause of the incident remains under investigation.
