According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash was reported around 6:30 a.m. near the 2500 block of East Mission Road. The incident involved a gray Toyota Tacoma and a black Honda Civic.

Emergency crews arrived at the scene and requested a tow truck for the Toyota, which sustained major front-end damage. Fire personnel were called for medical assistance, and at least one person appeared to have been transported.

The Honda Civic was pinned against a guardrail, requiring additional efforts from emergency responders.

CHP officers cleared the scene by 7 a.m. The cause of the collision remains under investigation.
