According to authorities, the incident occurred at approximately 7:16 p.m. between Valley Center Drive and Seventh Street. 

Emergency responders, including the Victorville Fire Department, AMR, and the Victorville Police Department, arrived at the scene and located the injured pedestrian in the roadway.

The pedestrian was transported to a local hospital for treatment, though the extent of their injuries remains unknown.

The driver of the vehicle, a black Hyundai sedan with front windshield damage, pulled into the nearby Food 4 Less parking lot and remained at the scene, cooperating with law enforcement officials.

Following the crash, police closed the area to traffic as they conducted their investigation. Authorities noted that personal belongings left at the scene, including an overturned shopping cart with blankets and clothing, suggested the pedestrian may have been transient.

The Victorville Police Department is currently investigating the circumstances of the crash. No further details are available at this time.
