[01-30-2026] Kern County, CA – Motorcycle and Sedan Involved in Crash in Bakersfield.webpA motorcyclist and a sedan were involved in a traffic collision in Bakersfield on Friday night, January 30, 2026.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash was reported at around 9:10 p.m. near the intersection of South Chester Avenue and South M Street. Emergency responders arrived at the scene shortly after the collision was reported.

CHP officials stated that the vehicle involved was traveling southbound and came to rest on the north side of the roadway. It was not immediately known whether the motorcyclist sustained any injuries as a result of the crash.

No additional details were released regarding how the collision occurred.
