According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred near the Riverside Drive off-ramp. Authorities reported that at least five vehicles were involved in the collision.

Officials stated that six individuals were evaluated at the scene. At least three people were transported to local hospitals for treatment. The extent of their injuries has not been released.

Firefighters responded to contain and clean approximately 10 gallons of spilled oil and fuel from the roadway. Cleanup and recovery efforts led to lane closures in the area.

Traffic remained heavily impacted as crews worked to clear the scene. CHP reported that only one lane was open, with delays extending several miles north toward Roscoe Boulevard.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
