At least one person was killed in a two-vehicle collision involving a pickup truck and a sedan on Sunday night, January 26, 2025, in Lake Elsinore, Riverside County.
The California Highway Patrol reported that the crash occurred around 9:25 p.m. on the northbound 15 Freeway, just south of Central Avenue. A witness called CHP from the involved white Ford F-150 pickup to report that both vehicles had gone off the side of the road. The witness also mentioned that a blaring horn made communication with dispatch difficult.
The cause of the collision remains under investigation, and authorities have not yet released further details about the victim or the circumstances leading to the crash.
