[01-26-2025] Multi-Car Crash On Interstate 80 In Berkeley Causes Minor Injuries And Lane ClosuresA multi-vehicle crash involving at least six cars caused minor injuries in Berkeley on Sunday afternoon, January 26, 2025.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash temporarily blocked eastbound lanes on Interstate 80 west of the Buchanan off-ramp.

At least one person sustained minor injuries. The cause of the collision remains under investigation.

Authorities closed lane 5 and the Buchanan off-ramp following the crash, while lanes 1 through 4 remained open.

All lanes were fully reopened by 5:45 p.m.
