[01-24-2026] San Bernardino County, CA – Dirt Bike Rider Injured After Collision with SUV in Hesperia.webpA dirt bike rider was injured after a collision with a small SUV at the intersection of Mesquite Street and Escondido Avenue in Hesperia on Saturday evening, January 24, 2026.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash was reported around 5:44 p.m. and involved a dirt bike and a silver Toyota RAV4. 

CHP logs indicated that an off-duty CHP officer reported the incident. Authorities said the RAV4 sustained significant damage to the passenger-side door and came to rest facing westbound on Mesquite Street. The dirt bike was left in the intersection.

Emergency responders arrived and provided medical assistance to the rider, who was later transported by ambulance. As of Saturday night, the extent of the rider’s injuries had not been disclosed.

The CHP Victorville Station is handling the investigation.
