Police are looking into a hit-and-run crash that killed a woman in North Hollywood, Los Angeles, on Friday night, January 24, 2025.
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, officers responded to reports of a pedestrian collision around 9:40 p.m. in the 11700 block of Victory Boulevard near Colfax Avenue, east of Van Nuys.
Investigators determined that a vehicle traveling westbound on Victory Boulevard struck the victim and fled the scene. A second vehicle, also heading westbound, hit the victim again and left without stopping to render aid.
The victim, described as a woman between 20 and 25 years old, was declared dead at the scene by the paramedics from Los Angeles Fire Department.
Authorities currently have no descriptions of the vehicles involved. The LAPD’s West Traffic Bureau is leading the investigation.
