Authorities are investigating a three-vehicle crash on Varner Road near the intersection of Cook Street in Thousand Palms, Riverside County, on Monday night, January 19, 2026.

The collision occurred just north of Interstate 10, west of the Classic Club and Acrisure Arena. 

Officials classified the incident as a major injury crash, though further details on the number of people injured were not immediately available. Law enforcement and emergency crews remained on scene as the investigation continued.
