[01-16-2026] San Diego County, CA – Two-Vehicle Crash Reported at East Alvarado Street and North Vine Street in Fallbrook.webpA two-vehicle traffic collision involving a sport utility vehicle and a minivan was reported Friday afternoon at the intersection of East Alvarado Street and North Vine Street in Fallbrook, San Diego County, on January 16, 2026.

According to California Highway Patrol logs, the crash occurred at approximately 1:36 p.m. and involved a white SUV and a white minivan. Both vehicles sustained disabling damage, and airbags were deployed. 

CHP initially classified the incident as a non-injury collision, but later upgraded it to an injury collision. 

Fire and medical personnel were requested to respond to the scene, and two tow trucks were ordered to remove the vehicles. CHP officers reported that both vehicles were unable to move from the roadway. 

No additional information regarding the number or extent of injuries was released.

The cause of the collision is under investigation.
