According to the North County Fire Protection District, personnel were dispatched at approximately 2:31 p.m. to the intersection of North Main Avenue and East Alvarado Street. 

Emergency responders, including Engine 111, Engine 113, and Rescue Ambulance 111, were assigned to the scene. 

An air ambulance unit was initially listed on the call but was later cleared. The pedestrian, described as an adult, was transported to Palomar Medical Center with moderate injuries.

The cause of the collision is under investigation.
