The San Bernardino County Fire Department responded to the scene along Highland Avenue, east of Del Rosa Avenue, around 7:13 a.m. Upon arrival, crews found all three vehicles fully engulfed in flames.

According to fire officials, three people were involved in the collision. One adult male and another adult were pronounced dead at the scene, while a third victim, an adult female, was treated for minor injuries.

The impact and fire prompted a large emergency response as crews worked to extinguish the flames. Highland Avenue remained closed in both directions east of Del Rosa Avenue as investigators worked to determine the cause of the crash.

No information about the victims or the circumstances leading to the crash has been released.
