[01-14-2025] Pamo Fire Contained After Burning 10 Acres in RamonaFirefighters successfully stopped the forward progress of the Pamo Fire in Ramona, San Diego County, after it burned 10 acres and threatened at least one structure on Tuesday morning, January 14, 2025.

According to Cal Fire, the fire ignited near Pamo Road and West Haveford Road. Initially reported at 10 acres, firefighters contained the blaze before it could cause structural damage.

Cal Fire confirmed that forward progress was halted by 7:20 a.m. Crews remained on the scene for several hours to strengthen containment lines and mitigate any lingering hazards.

The Pamo Fire occurred amid strong Santa Ana winds in Southern California, leading the National Weather Service to issue a Red Flag Warning.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
