[01-14-2025] Two Brea Canyon High Students Seriously Injured in E-Bike CrashTwo Brea Canyon High School students were seriously injured after their speeding single-person E-bike crashed into a brick wall in Brea on Tuesday afternoon, January 14, 2025.

According to Brea Police Lt. Chris Harvey, the crash occurred around 2:15 p.m. on State College Boulevard near Avocado Street. 

The E-bike was reportedly speeding southbound on the west sidewalk from Lambert Road when its handlebar clipped a tree, causing the bike to veer out of control and collide with a brick wall.

The rider sustained significant, life-threatening injuries, while the passenger suffered major injuries. Neither teen was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash. Their ages and genders have not been disclosed.

Both students were transported to a trauma center for treatment.
