[01-14-2025] Two Killed in Fatal Collision Near Avocado Heights in La PuenteTwo people were killed following a violent vehicle collision in La Puente, near the unincorporated area of Avocado Heights, on Tuesday morning, January 14, 2025.

According to the California Highway Patrol, officers responded to the crash around 10:55 a.m. at the intersection of Temple and North Azusa Avenues. 

Upon arrival, they discovered two victims who were pronounced dead at the scene.

Reports indicated that the vehicle the victims were traveling in was split in half due to the severity of the collision. The victims’ identities, ages, and genders have not been released.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
