[01-14-2025] Motorcyclist Killed After Collision With Vehicle in TorranceA 33-year-old man from Harbor City was killed in a collision involving a motorcycle and a car in Torrance on Tuesday evening, January 14, 2025.

According to the Torrance Police Department, the fatal crash occurred around 6:04 p.m. at the intersection of Crenshaw Boulevard and 236th Street.

Police reported that a 2019 Jaguar was traveling southbound on Crenshaw Boulevard when it made a left turn onto 236th Street, colliding with a northbound 1992 Honda motorcycle.

Torrance Fire Department personnel responded to the scene and pronounced the motorcyclist dead. His identity is being withheld by the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner pending family notification.

The driver of the Jaguar, a 78-year-old man from Torrance, was not injured in the crash.

Both directions of Crenshaw Boulevard between 235th and 237th streets were closed for over four hours as authorities investigated the scene.
