A motorcyclist sustained a severe foot injury following a collision with a Chevrolet Suburban in San Diego County on Monday afternoon, January 13, 2025.
The crash occurred around 4:05 p.m. at the intersection of South Main Avenue and East Aviation Road.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the white Chevrolet Suburban collided with the motorcycle, leaving the rider injured and down on the roadway.
Emergency responders arrived on the scene by 4:13 p.m. and transported the motorcyclist, along with the severed foot, to a local hospital for medical treatment. The motorcyclist’s current condition has not been disclosed.
CHP officers are investigating the cause of the crash.
