[01-13-2025] Passenger Killed, Driver Injured After Rollover Crash in Irwindale A passenger was killed, and the driver was injured after a Toyota Corolla crashed and overturned in Irwindale early Monday morning, January 13, 2025.

According to the Irwindale Police Department, the crash occurred just before 12:30 a.m. on the southbound lanes of Irwindale Avenue, north of Ornelas Street. 

The Corolla struck the western curb and rolled over in front of a business in the 5400 block of Irwindale Avenue.

Los Angeles County Fire Department paramedics pronounced the passenger dead at the scene, while the driver was transported to a local hospital for treatment.

Authorities confirmed that the driver and passenger were the only occupants of the vehicle and that no other vehicles were involved in the crash.

The cause of the crash is currently under investigation.
