[01-12-2026] Madera County, CA – Truck Driver Hospitalized After Crash with Peterbilt Trailers on Hwy 152

A truck driver was hospitalized after crashing into the trailers of a Peterbilt in Madera County on Monday afternoon, January 12, 2026.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred just after 3:00 p.m. on Highway 152 at Road 9. 

A white Ram truck collided with the trailers of a Peterbilt as it was attempting to cross the westbound lanes of Highway 152.

The 66-year-old driver of the Ram truck sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to a local hospital with moderate injuries.

CHP did not release further details about the crash.

The incident remains under investigation.
