[01-08-2026] Woman Killed, Two Others Injured in Two-Vehicle Crash on Highway 41 Near Fremont Ave. North of Lemoore.webpA woman driving a 2019 Jeep Renegade was killed in a crash with a 2013 Chrysler 300 on Highway 41 north of Lemoore, Kings County, on Thursday night, January 8, 2026.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision occurred around 9:45 p.m. at Fremont Avenue, where it crosses Highway 41. 

CHP said the woman was driving the Jeep eastbound on Fremont Avenue when, for reasons still under investigation, she continued into the intersection in front of the Chrysler, which was traveling northbound on Highway 41. The vehicles collided, and the woman in the Jeep was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the Chrysler and his passenger sustained minor to moderate injuries. Their identities have not been officially released.

The investigation is ongoing.
