A 67-year-old man was killed after being struck by a teen driver on Foothill Boulevard in Rancho Cucamonga on January 5, 2026.
The crash occurred around 6:13 p.m. when the victim was crossing Foothill Boulevard at Lion Street.
A 17-year-old male driver, traveling in a Dodge Durango SUV, struck the man as he was walking. Paramedics pronounced the man dead at the scene. Authorities have not released his identity, but they have confirmed that he was a resident of Rancho Cucamonga.
The teen driver, identified only as an Ontario resident, remained at the scene and is cooperating with the investigation.
While detectives continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash, they have stated that impairment is not believed to be a factor.
