A multi-vehicle collision blocked traffic on the westbound Pomona (60) Freeway at Atlantic Boulevard in Monterey Park on Sunday evening, January 4, 2026.

According to the California Highway Patrol, two westbound lanes of the freeway were blocked due to the crash. 

CHP did not immediately release details regarding the number of vehicles involved or whether any injuries were reported.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
