A four-vehicle crash blocked one lane of traffic on northbound Highway 101 near the Spyglass off-ramp in Pismo Beach on Friday morning, January 2, 2026.
According to the California Highway Patrol Traffic Incident Information Page, the crash was reported around 11:32 a.m.
Caltrans traffic cameras showed traffic backing up behind the collision, with at least one vehicle sustaining significant front-end damage.
By approximately 11:50 a.m., emergency responders arrived at the scene, and one of the vehicles was moved to the center divider as crews worked to manage traffic.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
